There’s so much in the media about dangerous dogs and dangerous breeds, but we don’t hear so much about dangerous owners.
In my opinion, there is no such thing as a dangerous dog. Intentionally or unintentionally, a dog is what you make it.
Some people gulp when I say I’ve got an American Bulldog, all they see is teeth and muscle, which I find really sad.
No breed should be labelled by misconceptions and ignorance.

My AMERICAN BULLDOG, Tyler, is the most loving, affectionate, loyal, comical and cuddly dog I could ever wish for and I’m proud to be his mum. He’s come through a lot of trauma and uncertainty in his life and I’m so grateful that I got to adopt him and give him his forever home.
I know his likes and dislikes, can understand his doggie ways of communicating and get my messages across to him in a way that he understands.
As a responsible owner I have an obligation to him and people around to make sure that he behaves acceptably and safely.
We work together as a team.
It’s not rocket science!
